Punakaiki to GoldenBay, South Island, New Zealand

We had only driven 500m when we saw the sign for the Punakaiki Cavern. These limestone cliffs could hide many caves but this one was apparently safe to enter. We grabbed one headlamp but in hindsight would have been better off with a couple of good torches as it was VERY dark in there. Select the photo below to see the beach we are parked beside.
