Farewell Spit to Foxton Beach, New Zealand

The Wellington Harbour is a natural harbour which is really an extension of the Cook Strait. It is very pretty and very large covering 70 kmĀ². New Zealand's first lighthouse was erected on Pencarrow Head in 1858 at the entrance to the harbour.
