Wanganui to Lake Taupo, New Zealand

There were houses dotted along the Pawea coastal cliffs but the area was pretty deserted. We heard the fishing is pretty good around here - snapper mostly. There are plenty of 'sections' for sale signs but I am thinking it would be very windy to live here.
