Wanganui to Lake Taupo, New Zealand

We looked through the Taranaki Visitor Centre where we read about the 300 kilometres of walking tracks in Egmont National Park. Outside the centre was a large carved maori totem pole. Apparently the mountain attracts unpredictably bad weather especially during winter and we can certainly vouch for that!  Select the photo below to see more of this area.
