Eyre Highway, Nullabor

Southern Right whales leave the plankton-rich summer feeding grounds in the waters of sub-Antarctica and travel north as the temperature gets cooler. They move in pods over thousands of kilometres mainly to the Southern Ocean off Western Australia and South Australia.
