Busselton

Next stop was Busselton and the well-known Busselton Jetty. We hoped to go down into the underwater observatory to see the abundent marine life that lives around the jetty but it was closed for winter. Once the wind and rains come the visibility is limited so they close it down and it was certainly windy! The 1841m long wooden jetty has quite a history of disaster and rebuilding after cyclone and fire.
