UK and Europe Roadtrip - Corvins Castle

Back out in the courtyard we read the story attached to this 30m deep fountain or well. They say it was dug by three Turkish prisoners in exchange for their freedom but after 15 years the promise was not kept and they were killed. There is an inscription on a wall of the castle that means 'you have water, but no soul'. Select the photo below to see the view from the castle.
