UK and Europe Roadtrip - Brasov

Construction of the Black Church of Brasov started in the 1300s but it took centuries to complete and renovations have been ongoing ever since, including today. The statue is of Honterus, 1498 - 1549, who was influential in the ecclesiastical reform that took place here and in all the Saxon settlements throughout Transylvania.
