UK and Europe Roadtrip - Hainburg

In Hainburg and up at the Heimenburg Castle ruins you can see large sections of the original city walls, the three preserved gates and numerous towers all dating back to the 1200s or earlier. The Castle build started in the 1000s and it changed hands many times during various conflicts. In the 1400s, after the Seige of Hainburg, it was occupied by the Hungarian King.
