UK and Europe Roadtrip - Bratislava

Architecturally interesting buildings surround the Main Square, many with cafes, restaurants and shops on the ground floor. Maximilian II, the king of Hungary, ordered the Roland Fountain and Statue be built in 1572 to provide a public water supply. Roland was a knight and defender of the city.
