Gibraltar and Spanish Sth Coast

Next stop on the tour was at the Siege Tunnels. The Rock is riddled with them. They were first constructed in 1782 by the British to control the Gibraltar Straits against the French. It took 13 men five weeks to drive an 8 feet square tunnel 82 feet into the rock.
