South Burnett Region - Boyne River

Next we headed off to Lake Boondooma which is formed by the Boondooma Dam on the Boyne River - about 30km west of Murgon. It is a nice spot to camp, fish (perch mainly), canoe or ski. It supplies water to the Tarong Power Station 97km away. We just visited this time but I think we will come back and camp here sometime soon.
