South Burnett Region - Blackbutt

We stopped for lunch at the Benarkin State Forest. There is a rest area when you first enter it or you can continue down the dirt road (well maintained for the timber trucks) to one of the two camping areas. Emu Creek camping area is the furtherest into the forest but I think is the nicest of the two. The creek has fish and a good swimming hole. Not really enough water to canoe but we will come back another time after rain.
