Sydney, New South Wales

Captain Arthur Phillip brought his fleet of 11 square-rigged sailing ships into Sydney Harbour and established a settlement on the western shore of Sydney Cove. This district eventually became known as The Rocks. It is the oldest area of Sydney and has recently been transformed into cafes, restaurants, interesting tourist shops and stalls while still preserving its heritage and maintaining its historic buildings.
