Tangalooma Resort, Moreton Island, SE Queensland

Tangalooma is half way up the west side of the island and from here you can see the lights of Brisbane at night as well as the many cargo and passenger ships that leave the Port and run parallel to the island as they make their way out of Moreton Bay. The map shows the various helicopter tours you can take around the island. You can see The Wrecks and The Desert are easily accessible on foot from the resort. The main 4WD track across the island is Middle Road. The last web album showed the view across from Stradbroke Island to the southern tip of Moreton Island.
