Tasmania Roadtrip - Week 7 Dunalley

We left the Tasman Peninsula to head north up the East Coast. We stopped for coffee at a lovely cafe overlooking the marina at Dunalley. The Tasman Monument is here and it marks the 300th anniversary of the 1642 landing by Abel Tasman and his crew in this part of Tasmania. They planted the Dutch flag thinking this was a new land, not part of Australia.
