Tasmania Roadtrip - Week 7 - Painted Cliffs

As you can see we haven't got much time for a look at the Painted Cliffs if we want to stay dry. The ground water seeps down through this porous sandstone bringing minerals with it and causing the various shades of brown and gold to stain the once white rock. As the waves splash against this small cliff at high tide it continues to erode, some areas faster than others.
