Tasmania Roadtrip - Week 8 - Halls Falls

Halls Falls lies on the Groom River and drops from a weir, hand-made in the 1800s, just upstream from the waterfall.  What is now a part of Blue Tier Forest Reserve was first settled in 1878 as a tin mining town. Just up the road you can see the Anchor Stamp Battery used to crush the ore in the early 1900s.
