Tasmania Roadtrip - Week 8 - The Gardens

The Bay of Fires occupies a 50km stretch of Tasmania’s north east coast and we are about half way along that. It was named in 1773 by a passing explorer, Captain Furneaux, who saw dozens of Aboriginal fires burning brightly along the shore. Most people think it has to do with the orange rocks!
