Tasmania Roadtrip - Arthurs Lake

The outflow of Great Lake was originally to the south near Miena but engineers changed that by drilling a 6km tunnel through the northern rim of the Great Western Tiers and placed a power station there at Poatina. This worked better for getting electricity to the major town of Launceston. No electricity for us though, dinner tonight at Arthurs Lake is over the fire!
