It may have been a heat wave in Brisbane but it was pretty cold in Tasmania, even though it was the middle of summer. The Cradle Mountain-Lake St. Clair National Park is very popular but still offers the feeling of being isolated and in the winderness. Mirror like lakes and rugged mountain peaks make it a must to visit.
