Port Arthur has more than the historical ruins that it is famous for. The wildflowers were still out even though it was not the main season for them. You need to spend a full day here to see it all. In fact, whatever time you think you will allow for a trip to tasmania, you should double it. It may be a small island BUT there is a lot to see and do.
