Tunnel Creek, The Kimberleys

The limestone of the Napier Range is part of a fossilised barrier reef from the Devonian times 360 million years ago. The dissolved calcium carbonate from this has formed an extensive flowstone here as the water seeps out of this rock wall. To the right you see 3 torches coming towards us through the pitch black of the tunnel.
