UK and Europe Roadtrip - Kavala to Stavros

Across the bay near the Port of Kavala we could see Kavala Fortress on the hill overlooking the town. The old town on this site was destroyed in 1391 and the ruins were then used to build the fortress in the 1400s. We continued west towards Stavros where we would stay the night.
