UK and Europe Roadtrip - Sogut

We are now in the Bilecik Province. This small town has an impressive entrance, or it was once but now needs a bit of repair. Apparently it was the first capital of the Ottoman Empire from 1281 to 1335 sitting on an important trade route through the area. Select the photo below to see more of this area.
