UK and Europe Roadtrip - Bigali Fortress

We spotted the ruins of Bigalı Fortress from the Gelibolu - Eceabat road. It dates back to the 1700s. The nearby village of Bigalı became an important strategic point in WW1 as Colonel Mustafa Kemal (Atatürk) used it as his headquarters. Select the photo below to see more.
