Foca's Kayalar Mosque was built in 1457. Near this site, in addition to the Temple of Athena, was an open air sanctuary dedicated to another goddess named Cybele or Kybele. It dates back to at least 580BC. Select the photo below to see where we cooked and ate our very fresh prawns for lunch. Yum!
