UK and Europe Roadtrip - Izmir

The landscape from Cesme back to Izmir was rocky and dry with an occasional Olive Grove and Pine Trees. As we entered Izmir again we noticed the Flag Bearer monument dedicated to the Turkish soldiers who fought and died in the Turkish War of Independence. Select the photo below to see more of Izmir.
