UK Roadtrip - Tattershall Castle

The Tattershall Castle doesn't fit our image of a castle but National Truset tells us it definitely was a castle that had a moat, a curtain wall and guardhouses. It is more a fortified manor and is one of the earliest surviving examples of medieval brickwork. The original built in the 1200s was significantly upgraded in the 1400s.
