Roadtrip UK - St Edmund Cathedral

There are a number of interesting painted ceilings throughout Edmundsbury Cathedral including this one above the organ (left). This colourfully decorated organ was installed in 2010. The gothic style tower is almost 46m high and wasn't completed until 2005. It was felt that it then needed an impressive ceiling to finish it off. This painted and guilded fan-vaulted ceiling (right) was installed in 2010.
