Roadtrip UK and Europe - St Edmund Abbey

Saint Robert's Chapel (top left) honours a boy from Bury who was murdered in 1181. He was said to have been martyred, buried here in St Edmund Abbey and had a number of miracles attributed to him. The Abbot's Garden was originally attached to the Abbot's Palace which is now completely demolished.
