Roadtrip UK and Europe - St Edmund Abbey

Bury St Edmunds has a lot of interesting history. You can see looking at the Cathedral in the background here, just how large the Abbey was. There was a Court House here, which they also called the Hall of Pleas, where the Abbot handed out his 'royal justice' or charity for the poor.
