UK and Europe Roadtrip - Colchester

Bourne Mill has been used for various purposes over the centuries including producing Bay cloth, grinding wheat into flour and as a mill to grind corn. Some of the bricks used in the building have been identified as coming from the remains of St Johns Abbey in Colchester.
