UK and Europe Roadtrip - Ightham Mote

A lot of Ightham Mote's outer walls currently have the 'olde worlde' timber look but that was not always the case. It most likely would have all been rendered similar to this section. You can see how much shorter people were centuries ago with the formal entrance arch suiting my height.
