UK and Europe Roadtrip - Reculver Towers

The Roman Fort of Regulvium stood on this site in AD 200. After it was abandoned a couple of centuries later, the site was used as an Anglo-Saxon Monastery and Reculver's parish church. Coastal erosion led to its demolition in the early 1800s leaving only these towers to be used as navigational markers. Select the photo below to see the towers from a different angle.
