Tanna Island, Vanuatu

The 'Blue Holes' were just 500m from the resort and offered great snorkelling. We headed up the track past the local village. The island is very fertile, producing coconut, coffee, fruit and vegetables in quantities large enough to export. They have weekly markets where they carry their excess produce for sale in woven baskets. Near this large limestone 'bommie' the villagers had coffee beans out drying. We had been enjoying Tanna Coffee since arriving in Vanuatu.
