Port McNeill to Campbell River - Vancouver Island

We took the Beautiful Bay Walk hoping to see the whales rubbing themselves on the pebbly shore. Bere Point Beach is a well known killer whale rubbing beach. Orcas frequent select beaches in the area to rub themselves on the gravel and pebble shoreline. You can see that the beach drops off quite steeply here which is perfect for the whales. Unfortunately we didn't see any!
