Calgary to Edmonton, Alberta

Just west of the town called Rocky Mountain House in the foothills of the Rocky mountains on the mighty North Saskatchewan River, the 'Empress' decided to start playing up. It just conked out while driving up hill, twice! It was getting late so we decided not to push our luck and pulled in for the night at Chambers Creek Recreational Area. Many of the parks supply firewood and the charge per night is about $26. We spotted squirrels and deer around the camp, cooked dinner on the fire and had a relaxing glass or two of wine - life was good! Select the photo below to see. Next morning, the Empress wouldn't start - not so good!
