Banff Nation Park, Alberta

Bow Lake is a glacial lake with the Bow River feeding into and out of it. From here (on a fine day!) you can see the Wapta Icefield, Bow Glacier, Bow Peak, Mount Thompson, Crowfoot Glacier and Crowfoot Mountain. This is a view of the Crowfoot Glacier and as it melts the run off supplies the falls which make their way into this lake.
