Yoho National Park, British Columbia

Yoho National Park's Leanchoil Hoodoos are impressive. These geological wonders are formed when softer sedimentary rock is eroded beneath harder stone that protects each spire from the elements. The track divided and one went down to Hoodoo Creek to give you this view of the hoodoos from below looking up. It was too steep to climb up this way so we went back to the track and took the fork that headed up alongside the Hoodoos. Select the photo to see some of the hoodoos closer up.
