Alaska and Canada Holiday

The next day we headed north stopping just outside the park at The Canyon. The scenic Nenana River Canyon seems to be a popular spot for whitewater rafting. They use the green mat to slide the rafts down the steep banks into the river using ropes. You can choose scenic trips or whitewater adventures as they range from class 1 to 4. We had seen them heading off on rafting trips the night before at 7:30pm. Might be strange to us but it never gets dark here so why not?
