Fairbanks and Arctic Circle, Alaska

Another log house, this time with a seaplane moored alongside their boat. It is VERY common to own a seaplane in Alaska as there are very few roads. Even Juneau, their capital city, has no roads into it. A seaplane took off and also landed on the river while we moved slowly down the Chena River.
