Fairbanks and Arctic Circle, Alaska

We stopped at the Chena Indian Village, where Alaskan Native guides took us on a guided tour. It was set up as a typical Athabascan Indian village. Our guide explained how the native animals were used to provide food and protection in the harsh Arctic climate. Have a look at some of the clothes and shoes they made using pelts like these.
