Fairbanks and Arctic Circle, Alaska

We thought it unusual to see rows of mailboxes lined up along the roadside at regular intervals. In winter especially I guess it is easier to deliver the mail to one spot. This is not something you see in Australia as our poor 'posties' have to stop at each residence.
