Fairbanks to Valdez, Alaska Canada Holiday

During the winter the canyon is a popular place for ice climbing once the falls freeze over. If we had more time we would have liked to have hiked some of the Valdez Goat Trail. It was built for sleds, wagons, and eventually automobiles and still in use as late as 1952. It leave from near the falls. Today though we wanted to get to Valdez early enough to beat the 4th July rush...
