Valdez to Anchorage - Alaska

Here in Valdez, pronounced ValDeez, this is the typical catch off one charter boat. Not a bad effort! Filleting benches are set up all over the wharves to handle the return of the charter boats each night. Most of the charters go out with halibut and salmon in mind but some also go to view the glaciers (Columbia Glacier, Meares Glacier, and Blackstone Glacier) and the wildlife (sea otters, sea lions, seals, eagles, whales and porpoise).
