Holiday Photo Album From Valdez to Anchorage - Alaska

Album 4 - Valdez is surrounded by snow-capped mountains and sited on a deep water fjord in Prince William Sound. The drive through the Chugach Mountains into town is very picturesque. We chose this 4th largest town in Alaska (population around 4000) to set up camp for 4th July celebrations. In summer the focus here is definitely on fishing but hikes and bikes and wildlife spotting are also popular. After a few days in Valdez we backtracked to Glennallen and then to Anchorage along the Richardson Highway. More glaciers and very impressive scenery! Unfortunately the smoke haze from fires up north had blown in and this hampered the photo taking. Missed the last web album?
