Valdez to Anchorage - Alaska

We visited the historical display area where they also pay tribute to Olympic Gold Medalist Tommy Moe who trained at Alyeska Ski Resort. We then walked further up the track to the glacier. They say that in winter, if you stay at the Hotel Alyeska they will call and notify guests in the middle of the night when the Northern Lights are out. You don't see the 'lights' in summer so we may have to come back to see them in winter.
