Anchorage to Kenai Peninsula - Alaska 2009

Album 5 - We had 4 days to travel on the Kenai Peninsula before our cruise was due to leave from Seward. The highlights were the River Rafting trip down the Kenai River near Cooper's Landing, the sunset near midnight over Watson Lake, the Russian town of Ninilchik, views to Mt Redoubt which was still giving off smoke from its latest eruption, Homer Spit & Visitor Centre and the glaciers, especially Portage Glacier Cruise and Byron Glacier walk, and camping near Williwaw Creek in the Chugach National Forest.
