Anchorage to Kenai Peninsula - Alaska

10 miles down the highway we set up camp at Watson Lake. Only a few campsites and with this beautiful view right at your doorstep. The colours were exagerated because of the smoke from Mt Redoubt volcano in the distance. It was 11pm and the sun was still up while we sat and toasted the day with a glass of wine. We made a note to stay at Watson Lake again on our way back.
